Nella seconda parte, i cronoastronauti e gli scienziati della nave 22 decidono di cambiare le sorti di Tinno, un pianeta del sistema Alfa Centauri, evitandovi la guerra che l’aveva reso arido e vi aveva annientato i suoi abitanti e tutta la vita non subacquea. La cronoastronave giunge dunque nel passato attorno a quel mondo, sul quale due dittature nemiche, simili alla nazifascista e alla stalinista terrestri del nostro ‘900, sono per il momento impegnate in una sorta di ”guerra fredda” ormai prossima a deflagrare…Il male, la cui causa metafisica resta incomprensibile, è forse il più eminente dei ”personaggi” di questo romanzo corale, in cui il lettore incontra anche il ”peccato originale”.“Svolte nel Tempo”, nella sua prima edizione cartacea 0111 Edizioni, si classificò Primo assoluto al Premio Creativa VI edizione, 2012, sezione narrativa edita.
