Ma Essere o non essere! “Beati i poveri di spirito” riguarda la nostra relazione con Dio! “I poveri di spirito” – in lingua greca makárioi hoi ptôchoi tôi pneúmati dove ptohoj, significa non soltanto i poveri, ma anche i mendicanti, i barboni che chiedono le elemosine, le persone degne di pietà. Interessante è che ptohoj unite con pneumati in questo caso significa i poveri che chiedono l'elemosina spirituale perché sono consapevoli che non sanno niente, per questo cercano la sapienza di Dio. Questo atteggiamento, come già ho scritto prima, non dipende dalla ricchezza o dalla povertà materiale, è un atteggiamento del cuore. “I poveri di spirito” sono ‘anawim YHWH, cioè gli umili davanti a Dio.
